online auction to benefit Pleasanton schools

Original post made by Sandy, Mohr Park, on Jul 1, 2009

I had not seen this link before -- anyone who would like can bid for one of the donated items (Eddie Papa's gift cards, dinner delivered to your house, movies and ice cream, etc.)

If you win the auction, you donate the amount you bid to PPIE or PSEE (your choice), and forward your receipt to the auction coordinator. Then she delivers the donated item to you (or puts you in contact with the donor, so they can make arrangements).

Really great idea!

Here's the link: Web Link

Just don't bid on the photography package, because I want to win that one...

Thanks for sharing the link for the auction items. I have already passed it along to those I know who have kids in this school district. Sad to see the programs in the public schools suffering- and going away. I really wish them luck in their efforts to meet fundraising goals

Thanks everyone for checking out the auctions! The first batch that ended on Friday brought in $575! There are many more auctions in the works thanks to P-Town businesses, teachers and residents donating their goods and services!!!! Auctions ending EVERY Friday!
