Berry Patch Grows and Blooms in place of DoodleBug

Original post made by Claudette McDermott, Del Prado, on May 16, 2009

Although it is always sad to see a store close there is reason to celebrate the "Berry Patch" as they take their place in Downtown Pleasanton, on the corner of Main Street and Angela. With a new owner and new look, the Berry Patch has blossomed into a charming downtown retail storefront that has an up scale look with a wide variety of gifts and collectables adding a new Fine Arts Section. Local Fine Artists: Tricia Poulos Leonard, Sally Haig, Dee Haag, John West, Karen Fleschler, Judi Caplan, Antonaia Wennink and Claudette McDermott are members of LAA, PAL & ACC Local Art Associations with Exhibitions in Wineries and Cities in & out of the Bay Area. Award Winning Artists and Artisans are right here in your community. Classes are also on board for adults and children alike. This is a Community store with local and bay area artist who want a chance to share their talents in this affordable shop with something for everybody. Artisans with High Standards are to be found at the Berry Patch. Come celebrate with the Berry Patch during it's official day of Celebration May 23, but stop by NOW as her doors are open to the public at it's new location! Jewelry, Art Glass, Paintings, Greeting Cards, Unique TorchWork Glass Beads, housewares and more. See you there!
