Jeb - thank you so much for the nice profile on Jay Wilkerson, a true American hero, right here in the community of Pleasanton! This program provides community support in a a way that government cannot and I think you did a wonderful job in helping to promote a great national program helping our returning warriors!

What is the best way the Average Joe can help with this project? Money only? Specialized services? Networking opportunities? Faith community introductions?

I'd suspect any and all of the above ways would help, Supporting Vets. It is a good quandary, though. I, too, and trying to think of what he might need that I can offer. Maybe, like a good neighbor, an outdoor cup of joe on a Saturday, or an offer to help with some chores. Maybe an invite to a cookout or a lift to one of the local churches.

I suppose I'll start with the basic plate of baked goods for him to munch on and a notecard of welcome!

Oh, and I am honored to be in a community with people who've dedicated themselves to such an endeavor of support. What a community of character! This is an awesome program and it's brainchild is quite the thinker, too. Cheers to all of you who've made this possible for any of our Sentinels.
