When does a pay cut equal a pay raise?

Original post made by Carl, Country Fair, on Apr 29, 2009

Answer: When you work for PUSD.

Tony E posted a blog entry boasting of the pay cuts that PUSD teachers and administration are making. When you are scheduled to have $1.5M in automatic salary increases, and you reduce your work days to save $1.0M, are you getting a pay cut or a pay raise?
