I was glad to see Gov. Schwarzenegger spending his money at Starbucks in Dublin at Village Parkway and Amador Valley this afternoon at 2:30. Heavens knows, we need the sales tax dollars.
I was surprised at how many customers were not paying attention to his presence while he was in line. The only reason I picked up on him was due to the man-in-black, i.e, his security, standing within eyeshot of me. Then, I looked to the right of the MIB and saw the Governor. Gov Schwarzenegger could have walked in and not be noticed. His security detail, along with the two black Suburbans, were more obvious than a blue moon.
Got to give him credit, he walked in to get his own coffee. Could have given the MIB the order but he was out there in the public eye. I know, he may have been out for exposure and adoration but my gut is that it was not the case. Anyway, it was good to see him in our town too.

I don't get, I'm asked to ride my cycle to work while President Obama fires up Air Force One to check on windmills in Iowa and Governor Schwarzenegger flies all over California?

My husband works at Shaklee and we were guests for the day. We loved meeting the Mayor and taking a family picture with her! It was a special event to have the Governor in attendance, but it was really great to have our Mayor there! My kids were so excited!

I met a Rhino named Arnold at the zoo once... and as for "I was glad to see Gov. Schwarzenegger spending his money at Starbucks in Dublin at Village Parkway and Amador Valley this afternoon at 2:30. Heavens knows, we need the sales tax dollars....Got to give him credit, he walked in to get his own coffee." You must not notice your receipt, Starbucks does NOT charge tax on coffee. I just bought a latte today and...no tax.
Bike to work/earth day...I'm for riding everyday on the ridge, exercise keeps you healthy but you'll never see the Presidet of Shaklee Mr. ROger Barnett (the new york/england to s.f. socialite transplant) taking BART everyday... This guys worth 10-12 billion dollars in Activated Holdings... do you think he fly's anywhere in economy or business class? Smells pretty close to Al Gore to me... Al Gore is nothing less than a hypocritical social elitistvwith a massive energy bumbling mansion, driver and gas guzzling limo feeding ridiculous scare tactics of the Global Warming propaganda. Oh the money he makes... Earth Day, enviro extremists = Biggest marketing money scam EVER! (Web Link
And ... Carbon Offsets Scam, Cap-n-trade = just another way for the government socialists, socialite and Hollywood elitists to ease their faux guilt for indulging in private jets and gas guzzling town car limos all the while pushing cap-n-trade and contradicting their massive "global warming" and Kyoto Protocol fraudulent schemes... Wake up America!

Right On, Sasha!
While our enviro-nater was at Shaklee celebrating Earth Day, I was celebrating Earth Day by honoring the inventor of the plastic grocery bags, the incandescent light bulb, big oil and coal and other things that have increased the quality of human life.
To all you koolaide drinking, enviro-whackos who have been duped by Al Gore, you should WAKE UP to the fact that man-made global warming is a huge scam at the ignorant public's expense. It is only to increase government revenue and government control over its 'minions.'
WISE UP.
