SPORTS BRIEFS: Water polo, soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis

The Pleasanton Seahawks swam as champions at the California-Nevada Spring Championship in Las Vegas earlier this month, with swimmers breaking a number of "best time" records.

Wow it is nice to see that Pleasanton boys are being recognized as great LAX players......I heard that our A teams are doing really well and giving the SCORPIONS a run for their money lately...this is great to see and hear!!!!!!!!

yep, Pleasanton is taking the Scorpions down so far this year -- it's been great to see...

Looks like PTOWN has made a statement!!!!!!!!looks like they are the teams to beat this season...

Anyone seen these kids play.. they are fun to watch!!!!

Pleasanton Lacrosse U15A Thunder won their game before the Easter break against the Burlingame Firehawks with a convincing score of 12-4 pushing their record to 8-1. Outstanding defense led by George Curtis (2 ground balls), Colin Dal Porto, Trent Morgan and Ryan Almeida controlled the Firehawks offense. The team also got excellent middie plays from Zack Wilhite, Brandon Becker, Elijah Caluya, Conner Francesca, Cale Rubinson, Daniel Arthur, Tommy Yozzo (4 ground balls), Mike Barbier (4 ground balls), Josh Yu (3 ground balls) Attackmen Josh Allen and Jeff Snyder played hard and kept the offense moving. Goals- Connor Chin with 3, Jerome Rigor 3, Steven Patrick 2, Mike Barbier, Joe Kluj, Elijah Caluya and Daniel Arthur. Assist- Rigor 5, Chin 1. Goalie Zach Beata had a great game with 6 saves.
