the first rule in defense is to delay, then delay, and then delay. the hope is that, if it's delayed and drawn out long enough, witnesses will lose interest, or their memory will become less credible.

the judge granting the delays is also granting more rights to the criminal than the victims.

Germain will eventually do time for his crimes. Grossman is just giving him his money's worth, he will soon be he behind bars and sexually, physically and emotionally abused by other violent predators.

This case is going to grab headlines and put Plutonia on the world map! Hooray!

There are many groups in the bay area who are following this case very closely. Germain is over. Expect lots of pro children's groups to be present and picketing!

This site has became a dangerous place to write lately. I have stayed away the best I could, because I don't like to be attacked. I really did feel like I needed to write something this morning.
The other day I signed up my one of my daughters for kindergarden here in Pleasanton. It was crowded and everything, but everyone there worked really hard and helped whoever needed it. It was a good experience. Thanks again to everyone involved in the roundup. GOOD JOB.
Then I wake up this morning and find out that in Tracy, a substitute teacher was arrested for molesting 8 children. This was the elementry school named "George Kelly". And I lived next to it for 4 years. This is the school I was going to be sending my kids too. I had a sick feeling in my stomach when i saw the pictures of the school on the news. I still know some families from the school and I still have friends scattered around that town. I know people will say "it can happen anywhere..." but I lived less than 100 yards away. This hits colse to home, you know. I was never truely happy about living in Tracy, and I got out as soon as I could.
My point in short: I have never been so happy living here in Pleasanton. The people are really nice here (except this site). I enjoy Pleasanton to the max and I just wanted to tell everyone THANK YOU. Even though it could (and has) happened here, I still get the feeling of a "community" here. In Tracy, and other cities... it feels more like you're on your own. So...THANKS AGAIN for being a great town!

Since there is a statute of limitations on these crimes why is there no limit to the number of times the case is continued? Is it possible to have it go on for years while he remains out on bail?

Yup, another one and a half to two years he'll be walking around Pleasanton!

Are you kidding????? All assets will be gone by then and his children and the victims will be left high and dry!!!
