As was stated by another writer: "To newly elected PUSD school board members Hinske and Arkin; since you both ran on a platform of knowing what the parents need because of your long time residence, and your well indoctrinated volunteerism, I can only hope that you have the ability to address this as a priority issue". I believe this statement sums what this community needs now. Full disclosure of what really has been happening in our schools - how much do all of our top administrators get paid? and what long term benefits will they get? In this tight budget year, we need to look at everything. Parents do not want to be paying long term benefits for someone who is gone. They made good money while they worked for us, why continue to pay them after they leave? They also get a very good retirement from the state, better than many of us in the private sector. New board members we do not want status quo!

Casey well over $200,000 plus mucho benefits package because Principals are over $100,000 plus. People should realize one day that what the school district does best is pat themselves on the back and say how great they are. It's a very political school district. Take a look up the road at San Ramon---better in most categories including state rankings.
