Adrian - If you haven't seen the current mayor around town, you haven't been looking. Mayor Jennifer Hosterman has had a booth at every First Wednesday this year, has attended and welcomed the crowd at the Concerts in the Park, she has been a fixture at Farmers Market with her "Meet the Mayor" booth, she has also held regular Friday afternoon Mayor's office hours at City Hall. Adrian, you need to get out more - and you will see the mayor. Best regards, Vinelander

Mr. Cukar,
The ONLY reason Mr. Brozosky is out and about town now is to campaign for Mayor. The ONLY reason he's shown up at Council meetings recently is because of his campaign. It was the same during his time on the Council and when he was last running for Mayor. I've lived in Pleasanton going on 18 years. When he and Mayor Hosterman were on the Council, she was the only councilmember that took the time to respond to questions and issues I sent into the Council. The first time I heard from Mr. Brozosky was Oct. 28, 2004, when he sent out a broadcast e-mail in support of Ms. Ayala for Mayor. Did he use the city website to access e-mail addresses for the mailing list? I guess we'll never know since his city computer usage couldn't be traced.

I will not vote for Mr. Brozosky for the following reasons:
- Mr. Brozosky's condescending demeanor towards residents and other council members when he was on the council and after he was defeated in his Mayoral race. He has not been a the kind of role model a "city of character" needs.

- The source and obscene amount of campaign monies spent during his last run for office. It's bad enough that, as residents, we have to deal with the Chamber BACPAC influence; we don't need anymore Council members run by special interest money.

- The nasty campaign that smacked of a personal vendetta he and Mr Dan Carl ran in 2006. Mr. Brozosky cannot run the kind of campaign we've seen from him, and then claim he has the "character" we need to lead Pleasanton.

Mr. Cukar, you may be a good friend to Mr. Brozosky, but Pleasanton doesn't need your friend as Mayor. We need someone who will, in the long run, do what's right for Pleasanton residents and neighborhoods with out bowing to special interest pressure.

I won't be voting for either of these two candidates. Same as last election. "No Vote" to both of them. The last post could of just as easily been about Hosterman as it was about Brozosky. Neither one of them are good for Pleasanton and both snooker up to each of their special interests. Do you really think its any other way?

Also, his Gov-outreach site advertises with a little pic on the bottom of the input forms on the Livermore Airport and Wheels transit internet sites. I already sent comments to both the Livermore city and bus about that.
