The Scherer homicides

Original post made by Qwerty, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Sep 21, 2008

If I recall correctly, it has been about 6 months since the incident took place and law enforcement agencies have released very little info.
Floorboards in the hours were ripped up, but they never stated why they did it. An autopsy was performed but the results were never released (as far as I knot), and the only major comment was that the son was a "person of interest".

Have there been any updates that I missed or does it really seem like the police have essentially said nothing?

While we the public would like to know what's going on, it's not going to happen. To do their job, the responsible investigative authority certainly cannot give public updates on their investigation without destroying their progress.

Let's be patient. The circumstances of the case may result in a considerable time period before the perp(s) can be arrested and charged.
