Where were you 7 years ago this morning...

Original post made by chris, Amberwood/Wood Meadows, on Sep 11, 2008

I woke up this morning and though it has been 7 years since that horrible day it still feels fresh...My daughter called from school to tell me about what was on, I turned on the news, it was early yet here and I couldn't believe what my eyes saw...those images of the planes going through the buildings will forever be etched...we are still feeling it and probably always will....the fear of this happening again is always with us...i would hope today could be a day of reflection for those lost, families left to grieve and cope and in our own backyards, here in p-town some acceptance of each other and leat in our hearts...sincerely, chris. I was getting ready for work when my husband called from the road and said someone flew a plane into the World Trade Center and could I turn on the news because he wanted to know if it was a small private plane or a commercial jet. I was watching with my then 9-year-old son when the second plane went into the other tower. My poor boy had nightmares for about a week.
