I tried to interest Palo Alto in a similar project to no avail. The few hundred Palo Alto golfers didn't want anyone to touch their 180 acre golf course. The few dozen Palo Alto pilots didn't want anyone to touch their 103 acre airport. The few dozen old ladies who amble around the baylands didn't want any intensification of use there.

Congratulations to Pleasanton for being able to move forward - a thing Palo Alto seems incapable of. Maybe it's time to move across the bay.

Perhaps a rink in Santa Cruz or Monterey? The Dublin Iceland is really close to Pleasonton, regardless, like in Canada, there is a rink in every city. This is what we need here. Besides, perhaps it will drop the cost of adult hockey, cause Sharks Ice is raping us! $400 + per season (6 months). That is straight out MURDER!!!
