Does anyone know whether the son attended the funeral services for his parents on March 22? When was the last time anyone has heard from him?
Yes, the son did attend the service.
I think this goes along with what a lot of people have been feeling - that is was not a random act. Whether the son is involved or not is I guess an open question. Or is it? Someone told me they saw an article in a paper that described issues with the son...they didn't say anything further however.
I did think it was strange that a couple so close to retirement age had taken out a $500,000 line of credit on a home they bought only two years prior. This thing makes me think they needed cash relatively quickly and that was a way to get it. So under what circumstances does someone need to generate that amount of money really quickly and then a short time later they are found brutally murdered? weird.
Things have been quiet recently. What is the latest on this story?
I don't think there has been any commentary on this story since June when the police announced that the son was a "person of interest". I don't think the police have ever released the official cause of death. That seems strange. Why would that be such a big deal?
Has anyone heard anything else since then?
I live on the block where the son, daughter in law and grandchild lived. The house has been vacated for quite awhile now. Does anyone know whats going on with this case? Is the son guilty? Has anyone been charged with the murder of his parents? I never met him but the wife, Robyn was very nice. It is such a shame, and oh so sad.
