I think the police should look into a connection to this local gang of burglars that were caught last Thursday in a STRING of local crimes. They were brandishing a large flashlight and a golf club, which might indicate a readiness for physical punishment, and might indicate a connection or a familiarity to the country club grounds. Where did the club come from? Was it perhaps obtained or used during the murders?
And did anyone in Castlewood see a BLACK LEXUS SEDAN during the time of the murders? That's what they fled thier crimes in...

One more thing - the people in the Black Lexus were arrested exactly 5 miles away from the crime scene. And the country club is right off the next exit. I google mapped it. It's really close by.

anon -- Do You Really Think The Investigators On This Case Are SOOOOO STUPID That They Wouldn't All Ready Be Investigating That Possible Connection.
As stated in other threads -- the savage beatings these two victims apparently took are clearly rage driven. Often times that type of rage points to the crime as being personal in nature.
Your repeated "cut and paste" postings on any thread related to this murder indicates you are running scared. Calm down...

This murder was committed with such rage. Has anyone looked into a relative who might be raged because he/she maybe needed money and the parents weren't going to enable that person to abuse their financial resources. Sometimes when a person has an addiction such as gambling, drinking or drugs, etc., one must stop the cycle of enabling that person to keep abusing themselves with their addiction. Maybe the parents held steadfast and rage was their reward. It will all come out soon, but I don't think I will be surprised. I just don't think this was a random thing. I also think that maybe the person was laying "in wait" for their return home thus enabling the person to strike with an element of surprise, most likely hitting the husband first then going after the wife. At any rate, it is such a sad state of affairs. I don't think a "professional" hit would have been so brutal so things brings me to the conclusion that it was a personal hit.

Snooper57 -- That was the point I was trying to make to "anon." If not a relative, this was certainly someone known to the couple. The rage points to it being "personal" on some level.
This is not a random act -- and likely not one for robbery.

I know who you two think did this. And maybe you're right. But these burglars need to be eliminated as suspects. And if the police are as half as sure as you two, then maybe all the facts aren't being looked at. See it all the time on Court TV. I wouldn't even begin to suggest that the cops were stupid in any way.
After all, these youths entered a residence 5 miles away that was next to a park, and committed another crime 4 miles away a few days later, wielding a golf club and a heavy flashlight. If this kid didn't cooperate with the gang, what were they gonna do with that golf club to him? And a flashlight would be ideal for sneaking around the golf course right off the freeway three exits down from Dublin.
And as far as rage, maybe something was said. An offended teenager on drugs and or alcohol could become plenty enraged. And a golf club could do lots of quick damage. Not to mention, a home invasion might happen without violence, if the victims cooperate. Doesn't seem like the male victim would have been the type to cooperate with hooligans.
And the murderer(s) weren't lying in wait as they came home, unless they waited for the victims to put on pajamas.
And I'm not sure what "running scared" means, but I can see that it is a sin to cut and paste around here. Sorry. My bad. I'm calm now. Thank you for your wisdom, Do You Really...

Someone told me that the sports car they have been searching for, might be related to or owned by the son. I haven't read up much on this story for a few weeks, so wondering how much credibility that story has.

The Alameda County Sheriff's Department should contact the Orange county Sheriff's department and compare notes. Similar crimes occurred in the early 80's, and the perpetrator was never caught. They should contact Det. Larry Pool......

Hello,
The forum is very informative. Feel great to be a part of the community.
Wanted to share a website which might be very use full for some of the people here.
I was doing some research on my mortgage refinance issue when I came across this website.
It has some very usefull information on mortgage related problems. These days most of us are going through
mortgage crisis so this might come handy for some here. The best thing is that it is highly targeted to the topic and
has actual questions posted by users like us who are having trouble with their mortgages.
The people were very friendly in answering questions also.
The website can be accessed here. Reverse Mortgage
