What's the matter Paulette, did we not have a Merry Christmas?(OOps, guess it's Happy Holiday in a Cosmopolitan City Right!) My goodness, how can you stand living among all those provincial, classist and racist people in your community. You sound Soooo Cosmopolitan!
I enjoy a good Cosmopolitan myself, especially after a rough day of shopping at Nordstroms and Flag waving! Go Mitt!

If anyone wishes to have an "Iraq Forum", or any other forum, why don't they hold it at a location such as the city library, or other such location, that can be used at no charge. If I'm not mistaken, two council members have stated they have no interest in discussing their position on the Iraq situtation at such a forum. If everyone that has an axe to grind were allowed to have a forum before the city council, where would the line be drawn. Pick any number of issues floating around this city - should supporters/opponents be allowed to hold the same type forum or is this only reserved for select groups. Also, pretty strong language concerning "a large hunk of this community". When did it become necessary to place labels on those that may disagree with ones points of view.
