Pleasanton Skyline.....

Original post made by Alice Morrison, Pleasanton Meadows, on Dec 14, 2007

I have lived in and enjoyed Pleasanton for almost 39 years.
Pleasanton has grown tremendously in those years. It has been, and
still is a wonderful place to raise a family!!! However, I am
very much against turing our hills into a cluster of huge homes.
Taking away the natural beauty that surrounds us....

We fought to protect the west ridgeland after one monstrous home
was built there. Now we must do the same with the hills to the
southeast. To have these huge homes built on the ridge is absolutely
horrible!! My son, Matt is involved in alerting citizens as to what
is happening, and in putting it to a vote of the citizens.

Please check this out completely as the opposition has signs saying Save our Parks, which is very misleading. They are only talking about 1 park which is the other side of the ridge. And, that is in exchange for having these monstrosities look down on Pleasanton.

Please do your research and vote accordingly when it is on the ballet. Thank you,

Alice Morrison

Huh? The park is on the other side of the ridge? Which ridge? I think you need to do more research too. The entire Oak Grove property slopes upward towards the primary ridge but doesn't include it. The majority of the park lies upon the southern part of the property and the trails will exist on secondary ridgelines. Homesites will exist on or near a secondary ridgeline at the northern-most part of the property, lower down on the hill system.
