All-female troupe performs "Romeo and Juliet"

In what has become an annual tradition, all-female Shakespeare troupe Woman's Will stops in Pleasanton tomorrow night to perform "Romeo and Juliet." The show begins at 6 p.m. in Centennial Park, 5353 Sunol Boulevard, adjacent to the Pleasanton Senior Center. Admission is free.

Actually, Woman's Will has performed all ten of our summer productions in Pleasanton, including 9 Shakespeares and one play by Aprhra Behn.

More importantly though, our "Antigone" this Fall is decidedly not the one by Sophocles, but an avant-garde re-working by multiple Obie-awarding willing contemporary playwright Mac Wellman.
