1. San Ramon Valley (1-0): Opened the season with a 34-7 win over a solid Bishop O’Dowd program. Enters the season with high expectations and shows off in the opener. Next up: At Central Catholic of Modesto, Thursday, 6 p.m.

2. Amador Valley (2-0): Might be one the best Amador teams ever and first two games combined wins of 92-7 certainly speaks to the talent level. Next up: At Dublin, Friday at 7 p.m.
