When the Bay Area counties lifted some shelter-in-place restrictions as of May 4, real estate professionals could resume showings .... with a few rules.
Virtual showings of properties and meetings with service providers that enable real estate transactions are still preferred. However, if virtual meetings are not feasible, providers such as real estate agents, escrow agents, notaries, and title companies, can have in-person meetings.
Properties can be shown with the following guidelines:
* By appointment only
* No more than two visitors at a time in same household or living unit
* One individual showing the unit
* No visits when occupant is present
Check with your real estate professional for more details.
