Quasimodo finds that everyone mistreats and mocks him -- except for the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. He falls in love with her free spirit, as does the handsome Capt. Phoebus and Archdeacon Frollo. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies, and it falls to Quasimodo to save them.
The Tri-Valley Rep production will play Jan. 12-27 at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First St. in Livermore, under the direction of Titian Lish and produced by Kathleen Breedveld. Performances are at 8 p.m. Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays.
