What are you superstitious about?

Around Town

Nick Glasco

Warehouse manager

I don't walk under ladders. I will climb them, carry them and set them up, but I will avoid walking under one at all costs. I've heard that it's like breaking a mirror and will cause several years of bad luck.

Dusty Mapson

Sales

I'm very superstitious about the Giants. Whatever jersey I'm wearing when they win the World Series is the jersey that I wear the next time they play. I'm really sure it makes a big difference in helping them win.

Carlos Quiros

Business owner

I never walk late at night by myself because I worry that the Chupacabra — a creepy, mythical, blood sucking monster — will come from behind and bite me on the neck.

Holly Strain

Administrative assistant

I'm really not superstitious at all. I have faith in God, so I find I have no need to be superstitious.

Steve Strain

Project manager

I play a lot of tennis and am superstitious about that. I always wear the exact same kind of black socks, every single time I play. Because if I don't, I'm convinced I'm going to lose.
