The Law house was Kathleen's center and she was a gracious host and incredible chef. She loved having her very large extended family for gatherings and holidays. The Northern Westchester Irish American Social Club was a big part of their life.
In 1979 Tom took a new position and the family moved to San Jose, CA. Kathleen worked part-time in the local schools and Montgomery Ward where she put her PBX skills to good use. Later she and Tom moved to Pleasanton, CA moving into a beautiful home and Kathleen began her new dedication to water aerobics in the community pools.
