As part of his Julian Lage Solo Project, which explores the world of solo guitar work, the musician will present a rare solo concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Firehouse Arts Center.
Lage, whose roots are said to be “tangled in jazz, folk, classical and country music,” is a Grammy-nominated, New York-based guitarist, composer and arranger who was the subject of the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Jules at Eight.”
Lage was 8 years old when he began performing beside renowned artists like Carlos Santana. He made his first recording at age 11.
