Dublin San Ramon Services Director Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold has been elected to serve a three-year term on a state sanitation board.

Vonheeder-Leopold was elected to the California Association of Sanitation Agencies, a non-profit corporation that advocates for public wastewater agencies regarding regulatory, legislative and legal issues, by members of the association during a mid-August conference of wastewater professionals, according to a DSRSD release. She was also appointed to the association’s Education Foundation board.

She has served on the DSRSD board since 2009 and also served from 1992 to 2000. Vonheeder-Leopold also serves as an Alternate Special District Representative to the Alameda County Local Agency Formation Commission.

She will serve on the state water board and the DSRSD board concurrently.

The DSRSD provides wastewater on contract to Pleasanton, as well as water to Dublin, areas of San Ramon and the Dougherty Valley.

  1. Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold has handled our tax returns for several years, including agreeing to do our 2015 tax returns. We moved out of state last year, however still needed to file both state and federal tax returns. We submitted all our paperwork via mail to her and somehow she has dropped off the radar screen. We have called her, e-mailed her, sent certified, signature required mail with absolutely no response regarding the status on our taxes. Residing out of state now makes it impossible for us to actually go to her residence to find out what is going on. We don’t know if our tax information has been filed, quite frankly we have no idea what is going on with Georgean. Have any others had similar situations like this with Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold? We have no idea where we stand regarding our tax situation and have had no correspondence from her regarding our status. Can anybody offer suggestions as to how to get some action from her. Is this something that the Dublin police can investigate or do we report her to the IRS, or what? Any suggestions are appreciated!
