Thousands crowded downtown streets Wednesday night for another 1st Wednesday Street Party with more than 100 dogs highlighting the event with a popular annual Pooch Parade.
The weather cooperated with temperatures in the low 70s for the evening.
Dogs of various sizes and breeds filled Lions Wayside Community Park ahead of the street party with owners signing them up to participate i the parade andn some regisstering for show and tricks competitions.
Some of the dogs were in costumer, ranging from a poodle’s pink tutu to fur collars. Some wore the green Guide Dog covers, green coats.
