A cement truck driver who died Wednesday while driving on northbound I-680 on the Sunol grade has
been identified as Liboril Sanchez-Lopez, 58, of San Jose.
Sanchez-Lopez suffered some kind of medical emergency around 11:30
a.m. near Calaveras Road, according to the
California Highway Patrol. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office identified Sanchez-Lopez after he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
