Dublin police are seeking the public’s help in locating a male suspect who robbed the Bank of America branch at 4250 Dublin Blvd. Tuesday.

Police said the suspect entered the bank at about 11:43 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding all the money in the register.

The suspect then left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen heading east on foot, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a black man in his late 40s to early 50s standing about 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall with a thin

build.

According to police, he had a grayish scruffy beard, and wore a black jacket, black gloves, blue jeans, glasses and a purple Toronto Raptors

baseball-type hat.

No weapons were seen or mentioned in the incident and no one was injured, police said.

Dublin police said anyone with information about the incident should call Detective Miguel Campos at (925) 556-4561 or Detective Dan McNaughton at (925) 833-6696.

  1. Toronto Raptors hat? Still steaming over the amazing come from behind victory by the Warriros on Tuesday night? Or, just another thug from over the hill? Please, someone make up an excuse for this guy…I can’t wait to hear about how he was so oppressed, he had to steal from a bank where working people deposit their hard earned pennies.

  2. I agree, Brandon. If the state wants to spend more money, lets put it into more prisons, because that’s just the most productive way to go. High speed rails and socialist transit systems that connect urban jungles with civilization? Give me a brake! The Sheriff in Arizona has implemented many cost-saving devices. No Thanksgiving dinner for inmates. No sweeteners for coffees and teas. No salts in any food. Cut meals from 3 a day to 1 or 2 a day. 40% less volume in individual servings. Use plastic forks and make prisoners use them for 2 weeks at a time. Instead of doing costly dish washing, the criminal inmates can wipe the forks on their pants in preparation for the next use.

And don’t get me started on the communist judges throughout the criminal system who say Californian prisons are overcrowded. Just cut back on food, and build more prisons. Less government in our lives! If all the criminals are in jail where they belong, then we can cut back on our overpaid police forces. The solutions are out there. We just need the intelligence to put them into play.

  3. It says he headed east. Sounds like he was going further into Dublin or possibly Livermore and beyond. Or maybe that was a decoy move to throw off police and then he turned around and went back west again.

Regardless I can’t believe he still hasn’t been caught! Im at that BofA every couple weeks, so it’s a bit crazy to me that it was robbed.

  4. Why must everyone blame BART all the time? with as many problems that BART have had lately–this would be the worst escape plan ever.

  5. The Tri-Valley better figure out something or the cesspool of West Alameda County is going to overtake us. We think its bad now, but wait until the low-cost housing that idiot Gov. Moonbeam rammed down our throats is in place. The prisons are overflowing with crooks. Probably the best thing to do is fence of a big area in the Mohave and put up tents to house the overflow crooks. If they want to rob, assualt, rape or murder there, let them have at it. If the left wing nutjob judges don’t like it, send them there as well.
