The first installment of the 2010-2011 Alamaeda County property taxes must be paid by Friday or a 10% delinquent penalty will be added, the county’s tax collector said today.
The first installment actually was due on Nov. 1, but a grace period gives property owners until Dec. 10 to make the payment.
Information about tax bills can be obtained on the “Frequently Asked Questions” at the Alameda County tax payment web page or by phone at (510) 272-6800.
