The deadline to register to vote for the June 8 Primary is Monday, May 24.

Alameda County residents must be citizens, 18 years old and not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony to be eligible to register to vote.

Voter registration affidavits are available at the Registrar of Voters office and at libraries, fire stations and post offices. Those wanting to register can also download and complete the registration form on the registrar’s website at www.acgov.org/rov.

Completed affidavits must be delivered to the Registrar of Voters Office at 1225 Fallon Street, Room G-1, Oakland, CA 94612 or postmarked by May 24 in order to be valid for this election. Because actual signatures are reqired, the forms cannot be transmitted by facsimile or emailed.
