It’ll be another hot day in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley today with a high temperature of 95 degrees by 3 p.m., followed by record-high temperatures ahead for both Friday and Saturday.

Forecasts shows temperatures will reach 100 tomorrow and 101 on Saturday before dropping back to a “cooler” 96 degrees on Sunday. So far, weather bureau forecasts show a break in the heat starting Monday with the temperatures in the mid- to high-80s.

Tonight the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly clear with patchy clouds developing after midnight. Low temperatures in the lower 60s

and variable winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.
