A bridge in Pleasanton's Walnut Hills neighborhood will be closed Thursday for tree work, police said.

The Wixon Bridge on Division Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pleasanton police said on social media.

Crews need to fully close the bridge so they can use a crane in the tree removal operation, police said.

Travelers are advised to use alternate routes.
