Crews contain 5-acre brush fire in Pleasanton

A brush fire in the 9400 block of Blessing Drive in Pleasanton has been completely contained after burning just over five acres, Cal Fire said Sunday afternoon.

The Macdonald Fire, to the southwest of the junction of interstates 580 and 680 started shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
