A local elderly man reported missing on Thursday morning was found safe later in the evening, according to Pleasanton police.
Officers were searching for 84-year-old Rashid Bolandi and his gold 2004 Toyota Camry, with the public call for assistance going out around 10 a.m. Thursday. Police updated the community around 9 p.m. that day to say the man had been found safe.
