Bankhead: Celebrating the '60s with The Family Stone

The Family Stone will bring the sound and sense of the '60s to the Bankhead Theater at 8 p.m. this Saturday night, celebrating the hits of Sly and the Family Stone nearly 50 years to the day that they appeared at Woodstock.

Hits included "Everyday People" and "Dance to the Music" but the group is also praised for being the first mixed-race, mixed-gender, mainstream band in rock 'n' roll history.
