'Spread Cheer with Beer' campaign nets $1,500 for Taylor Family Foundation

Visit Tri-Valley leaders recently marked the culmination of their "Spread Cheer with Beer" fundraising campaign by presenting a donation check worth $1,500 to the Taylor Family Foundation, a local nonprofit that works to enhance the quality of life of children with life threatening diseases, developmental disabilities as well as youth at-risk.

The fundraising effort was part of the Tri-Valley Beer Trail program during the winter holidays during which local adults visited the 23 participating breweries, taprooms and restaurants in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Danville and collected stamps on official Tri-Valley Beer Trail passports. For every passport that had at least five stamps, $20 was set aside for the foundation.
