Smoke alert: Fire training set at Camp Parks in Dublin this week

Still, don't hesitate to call 9-1-1 if unsure where smoke is coming from

Alameda County Fire Department firefighters are set to participate in live fire training at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin during the day Monday through Thursday this week, meaning smoke might be visible in the area during those days, department officials said.

The training sessions are scheduled to occur each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. within Camp Parks, near the intersection of Doughtery Road and Scarlett Drive in Dublin.

Though advising that smoke will likely be visible in the area, ACFD officials still reminded residents that they shouldn't hesitate to call 9-1-1 if they see smoke and aren't sure where it's coming from.
