The Drifters: Iconic R&B at Bankhead

The Drifters, a group that came together in 1953 and has included five legendary lead singers, will perform its classic hits at 8 p.m. next Friday (May 3) at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore.

Beloved songs include "Up on the Roof," "There Goes My Baby," "This Magic Moment," and "Save the Last Dance for Me." Their rendition of "Under the Boardwalk" is the most played R&B song of all time.
