Then "From Ragtime to Jazz" features the evolution of jazz music in America through the innovations of World War I soldier and bandleader James Reese Europe, at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday (April 18).

Remaining tickets for "Lonesome Traveler" start at $50. "From Ragtime to Jazz" is a free event, although tickets are required. Call 373-6800, visit lvpac.org, or go to the box office, 2400 First St., Livermore.
