Mariachi Herencia de Mexico, an ensemble of students from the Chicago's immigrant barrios, will be at the Bankhead Theater for one performance, at 7 p.m. next Saturday (Oct. 27).

"We are the future. We don't want our culture to die and we want to keep celebrating it through music," violinist ZullyDiana Gomez told Billboard magazine earlier this year.

Tickets are $20-$30. Visit lvpac.org, go to the box office at 2400 First St. in Livermore, or call 373-6800.
