Pleasanton Weekly announces candidate forums

To feature incumbents, challengers for State Assembly and city posts for Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon

With contested elections set for Assembly District 16, Pleasanton City Council, Livermore Mayor and City Council and San Ramon Mayor and City Council, the Pleasanton Weekly and DanvilleSanRamon.com are partnering with other organizations to again hold public candidate forums so voters can hear directly from candidates for those positions.

Assembly District 16

Sunday, Sept. 16

Candidates: Catharine Baker (incumbent) and Rebecca Bauer-Kahan

Gina, I hope you will consider interviewing Laursen, Miller, and Thorne and publish key questions and responses. While you will have no need to endorse, it could give the community some insight regarding future goals of these individuals rather than just attending board and city council meetings.
