PUSD schools join others in Bike to School Day

Event intended to spur healthier, more environmentally friendly commutes

Schools in Pleasanton Unified School District joined others across the Bay Area in Bike to School Day on May 10.

The event coincided with Bike to Work Day and was intended to encourage healthier, more environmentally friendly commutes.

Alisal and Lydiksen elementary schools, Pleasanton Middle School and Foothill High School held festivities to encourage bicycle usage, including giveaways, parades and bike decorating.
