Tri-Valley Community Television is set to continue its tradition of broadcasting local basketball games starting this weekend with the Foothill Falcons hosting the Dublin Gaels in varsity girls action.
This year marks the seventh year that TV30 has aired East Bay Athletic League basketball games in the Tri-Valley. The schedule for this winter features three games, including the Amador Valley boys playing host to Granada.
Play-by-play and color commentary will be provided by TV30 sports personalities Ian Bartholomew and George "Dr. B" Baljevich.
The first broadcast is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday on TV30, a tape-delayed replay of Friday night's matchup between the girls of Foothill and Dublin.
The next broadcasts will highlight next Tuesday's boys game between Amador and Granada and next Friday's contest when the boys of Foothill travel to Livermore. Those games will debut the evening of Feb. 10.
All games will be shown on TV30, broadcast on Comcast Channel 30 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99 or streaming live on the TV30 website at www.tv30.org. DVDs of the games may also be purchased online.
