The Special Consensus — perhaps better known as Special C — will bring their special brand of acoustic bluegrass music to the Firehouse Arts Center in downtown Pleasanton this Friday (Jan. 19) at 8 p.m.

The Grammy-nominated four-man group, celebrating their 42nd anniversary this year, performs bluegrass in classic vein, with modern edge, strong vocals and boundless energy.
