Program to feature classical, Gospel and traditional holiday songs

A free public Christmas concert will be held tonight at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Pleasanton.

The concert, "Christ, the Morning Star," will be presented by the music ministries of the Catholic Community of Pleasanton under the direction of Ira Stein, Director of Music.

"Classical, Gospel and traditional holiday songs will be performed by the adult, teen and children's choirs along with soloists with the audience invited to sing along, as well," Stein said.

The 1/12-hour concert will start at 7:30 p.m. at the church, which is located at 4001 Stoneridge Drive, just off Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton. A free-will offering will be taken.
