The city of Dublin will celebrate the start of the holiday season with its traditional lighting of the tree at the Dublin Civic Center at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Seasonal entertainment will be provided by the Dublin High School choir and the Wells Middle School jazz band.

After the performance, the public should be on the lookout for a very special visitor from the North Pole.
