Pleasanton orthodontist buying back kids' Halloween candy today

Steve Nerad also matching payout to 2 schools with most student contributors

Pleasanton orthodontist Steven Nerad will host his annual Halloween annual candy buy-back event from 2:30-5:15 p.m. Wednesday at his practice in Suite 107 at 1024 Serpentine Lane.

Nerad will buy back the candy at $1 per pound with a 20-pound limit on the offer.

Plus, for every pound of candy brought in, Nerad will also match his payout to the two schools whose students deliver the most candy, with a match of up to $250 to the first place school and $100 to the runner-up.

The candy that Nerad's office buys back will be donated to military troops serving overseas, Nerad said.

I think this is a wonderful idea and this Doctor is doing the children and parents a real service. I suggest that the media be notified of this & the Doctor be interviewed on live T.V.
It's a good deal all the way around and the result will be happy parents, and our dedicated service members.
