Museum on Main closed until Nov. 12 for interior painting

Will open briefly Nov. 9 for MoM's Reading Time event

The Museum on Main will close to the public temporarily starting Tuesday to allow for interior painting.

"We are excited to be getting a much-needed facelift on the interior of the building, but the comprehensiveness of the paint job will necessitate that the Museum be closed for the duration of the painting," executive director Jim DeMersman said.

The museum, located at 603 Main St., will reopen at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 -- with one exception, as the MoM's Reading Time event will go on as scheduled at 10 a.m. Nov. 9.
