The Tri-Valley Rotary Club has re-scheduled its “Lights-Out” golf tournament to Saturday, starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Pleasanton Fairways Golf Course.

The event had been announced as takng place last Saturday.

Highlights of the event include nine holes of Glow Ball golf, which will become more useful as play continues after sunset.

“We have chosen Dia de los Muertos as our theme this year, and we know this is going to add

excitement to the spirit of the contest,” said David Gilpin, the event chairman.

“Playing golf after dark creates fun, adventure, and mystery at our annual fundraiser,” Gilpin added. “This variation on

traditional golf makes this our most popular and successful event every year.”

The event will include a dinner, silent auction, raffle, prizes and illuminated golf accessories

Fees for golf and dinner are $75, or $25 for dinner only.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The First Tee of the Tri-Valley, a Tri-Valley Evening Rotary Club community service project that supports seniors, students and veterans.

Tickets can be purchased by signing on to the club’s website at trivalleyrotary.org/
