Registrar of Voters open next 2 weekends for voting

Staff also to be outside to assist voters in dropping off ballots

The Alameda County Registrar of Voters will be open on the next two weekends to allow voters to cast their ballots in the June 7 Presidential Primary Election.

The weekend days and hours are: Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29 and again June 4-5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Registrar's staff also will be outside at 1225 Fallon St. in Oakland, at the corner of 13th and Fallon Streets, to assist voters who choose to drop off their voted "Vote by Mail" ballot at the new Ballot Drop Stop.

The Registrar's office is currently open for voting from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office also will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Registrar of Voters' office is located inside the courthouse at 1225 Fallon St., room G-1. Voters wishing to cast ballots during weekend hours will be able to access the Registrar's office by using the 12th Street entrance of the courthouse.
