Zone 7 election special now airing in TV30

3 open seats to be filled in June 7 balloting

Candidates running for the Zone 7 board of directors on June 7 are now appearing in a one-hour non-partisan special produced by TV30.

Tom Morrison, the program's host, interviews each of the seven candidates running for three open seats on the Zone 7 board about water issues. Zone 7 supplies treated drinking water to retailers serving more than 200,00 people in Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin, and through special agreement with the Dublin San Ramon Services District, the Dougherty Valley area.

The candidates are Alfred A. Exner, Sandy Figuers, Victor Karpenko, Dick Quigley, Angela Ramirez Holmes, Eric Thiel, and Jacquie Williams Courtright.

Directors are elected by the community to provide strategic guidance and planning for Zone 7's policies, programs and finances. Board members serve four-year terms and represent the public throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley.

The Zone 7 election special can be seen on Channels 30 at various times through June 6.
